Independence Day Festivities

Happy Fourth of July weekend! The following celebrations will take place the next few days. We hope to see you there!

Hidden Valley will host the 2nd annual HVL Independence Day beach celebration. The party is on Saturday, July 3rd, from 7-11 pm. There will be food, fireworks, magic, music and fun. The fireworks will be set off at dusk off the dam.

Sugar Valley will have fireworks Saturday, July 3rd, at dusk off the dam. Sugar Valley will also have a boat parade Sunday, July 4th, at 2pm at the dam. Boats will line up by the dam, near the swimming area, and will make a loop around the lake. The theme is yours to choose. Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place! We hope everyone will come out to enjoy a great time and see some decorated boats!

Please remember that all boats and ATV, or other recreational vehicles must be tagged with a current year sticker.

The board voted to allow fireworks until midnight on July 4th, and until 11 pm on Friday and Saturday. Please be respectful of your friends and neighbors, and have a happy and safe Fourth of July weekend!
