Hidden Valley Roads Update

  • Jun 11
  • 1 min read

Dear Hidden Valley Lake Members,

The Association Board and management understand your frustrations regarding the current state of our roads and the impact on driving conditions around the lake.

While these roads are legally maintained by Bourbon County, your safety and peace of mind are our top priorities. We are taking proactive steps to provide immediate relief rather than waiting for county action as conditions worsen.

The Association will implement the following temporary measures:

  - Saturday, June 13: We will deliver the grader to Hidden Valley and inspect the areas in most need of grading

  - Sunday, June 14: Weather permitting, our team will begin grading the most severely impacted areas to smooth out the roughest spots.

How You Can Help

Please keep in mind that this is a temporary measure by the Association and not a permanent takeover of county responsibilities. To ensure our community receives long-term infrastructure support, we need your help. Please continue to contact Bourbon County directly to report road damage and request official maintenance. Consistent reports from residents will help move our community up their priority list.

Thank you for your patience and your continued commitment to keeping Hidden Valley Lake a safe and beautiful place to live.

Sincerely,

Hidden Valley Lake & Sugar Valley Association

The road I live on Maple CT by signage Maple Dr. By map has never been restocked since 1978. It now has a gully running down it's length. Also the cul de sac is missing at the top so it's had to turn around.
