Post-Tornado Lake Cleanup: Dive Services Available

For those looking to clear debris from below the water level following the recent tornado, the Franklin County Water Rescue Team will be active in our area starting today.

Jim Stonequist and his crew are beginning the recovery process in the cove today, Saturday, May 2nd. They have established a command post on Brian Love's dock, located directly south of 102 Oak Drive.

📋 Service Details:

• Team: Osawatomie Fire Department Dive Team

• Purpose: Removal of underwater debris.

• Funding: The team operates on donations to their department.

• Requested Donation: $350 per hour (This covers transportation, equipment costs, and department funding)
